The
Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró will open on October 7 a collective sample of the work carried out by Mallorcan artists in the 70s and 80s, with the title L'entorn de "Neon de Suro", Colección Rafel Tous, 1975-1982. This is an interesting exhibition that reveals plastic proposals made on the island by some of the most significant artists of that era who were also open to new esthetic ideas. The show can be visited in the Espai Cúbic until December 5.
At the same time, from October 12 till December 5, in the Espai Estrella, there will be an exhibit Tribute to a Pilar Juncosa, that gathers together very relevant pieces of Joan Miró's different creative periods. For the first time in Palma, the public will be able to contemplate works such as Ampolla de vi (1924) or Dona i ocell en la nit (1945).
