Signing of the donation of the plot Can Salas to build a public library

The Balearic Councillor for Presidència del Govern, Antoni Garcías, and the delegate of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the Balearics, Rosa María Barber, signed yesterday the public deed for the donation of a plot known as Can Salas (Palma) to the State so that it will assume the task of building a public library, with an investment of over one thousand million pesetas (four million pounds). The ceremony was also attended by , the director for Cultura del Govern, Pere Muñoz, who suggested the construction of the new library in September to the Ministry of Education.
