The Gob asks the public to be respectful with the environment this Christmas

With the arrival of Christmas, the GOB suggests the public adopts a series of simple measures to make the festivities less injurious to the environment. The proposals are aimed basically at avoiding the use of dead vegetation, such as trees or moss in the nativity scenes and the responsible use of consumer products to minimise waste.

At the same time, the ecological organisation, that on Tuesday 21 will celebrate the AGM for members at 8 p.m., wishes to start a sanctioning and demolition file for the golf course Can Guilló (Pollença). Yesterday, the GOB sent the Pollença Town Council a document requesting the initiation of the said sanction and demolition file for the golf course Can Guilló, in Pollença.

Finally, the GOB have expressed their thanks to Camilo J. Cela, and his wife Marina Castaño, for the donation of one of their properties, situated in the municipality of Andratx, next to La Trapa.
