Hang gliding on Mallorca

The adventure sports have an increasing number of fans and addicts. Mallorca is not apart from this tendency and has a good number of sportspeople who practice hang gliding. The majority are grouped together in the Club de Parapente Alfabia, based at the foot of the Puig de Son Martí and the Club de Vol Mediterrani that was the Spanish champion in 1996.

The web dedicated to hang gliding contains indications and photographs of the main areas of the island where this risky sport is practiced: Puig de Randa, Cap Blanc, Ermita de Betlem, Puig de Son Martí and the Serra de Tramuntana, carrying out flights from Galatzó, es Tomir, Serra d'Alfàbia, Na Fàtima, Na Franquesa, Penyal des Migdia, es Vedrà and others.
