ARC-46: Communication Group for educational information

Balearic Ministry of Education and Culture has just published norms and instructions for school registry. The information can be consulted on the web of the Grup de Comunicació ARC-46, that also includes a list of the new Information and School Registry Offices opened recently, and the list of centres on the island with the different educational systems they offer.

The Grup de Comunicació ARC-46, coordinated by the psychologist and guide, Antoni Ramis, was founded in 1997 and since 1998 has an informative web site aimed at consultants, informers, youngsters and students on the Islands. The web is complemented by an electronic mail distribution list and has the collaboration of the Conselleria de Educació, the Oficina Infojove of the Conselleria de Treball, SIOPJ of the Palma Town Council and the Information Office of the University.

The ARC-46 group hopes to be a bridge between the orientative information and personal decision. An arch that facilitates, both to educational guides and youth informers, and to those informed, the transition from the present situation to more appropriate formative systems.
