ART-JOVE 2000: musical semifinals

Next weekend the first semifinals of the Young Contemporary Music Contest ART-JOVE 2000, will be held, organised by the General Direction for Youth of the Balearic Government, with the collaboration of the insular Councils and several Town Councils of the Balearics. This first semifinal will take place in the Santa Ponça Sports Centre: the evening of Friday April 28 will be dedicated to Pop-Rock; Saturday 29 to Ethnic music and Sunday 30 to Composer-Singers. The second semifinal will be held on May 19 and 20 in the Pollença sports centre and the third, on June 2 and 3 in Manacor.

The cultural programme ART-JOVE 2000 includes creative activities, as well as young contemporary music, such as plastic art, photography, comics, literature, design, architecture, video and classical music.
