"Record Fair" on Mallorca

On May 6 and 7 there will be the first Mallorcan "Record Fair" at the fairs centre of Fires i Congressos supported by the public institutions --Govern Balear, Palma Town Council and the Mallorcan Council-- , communication media and private sponsors.

The Fair will basically comprise about a hundred exhibitors from the islands, the mainland and Europe, who will be selling CDs, LPs, comics, musical instruments, books, etc. There will also be different exhibitions dedicated to the Beatles, to the "disco rayado" (scratched record) and to comics; a stage with musical performances by Sexy Sadie, La Gran Orquesta Republicana, La Granja, Satellites, Crosstown Trafic, Glycerine, Codians, Lois Lane, Peter Colours (Ibiza), Wallride (Valencia), Mardú (Sevilla) and Pussycats (Vigo); a television plateau and a radio studio to carry out recordings and live connections; and finally a grand auction of objects relating to the world of music, that includes unique pieces such as a guitar signed by Cream - Eric Clapton, a record signed by Dyland, a poster signed by Kiss and a long etcetera.

Opening times of the Fair will be Saturday 6th from 3 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 7th 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
