Forum "Illes Balears 2007" for Professional Training

The forum "Illes Balears 2007" will be held on May 16, 17 and 18 at the Cultural Centre of Sa Nostra. On Tuesday, May 16, at 9.15 a.m. it will be opened by the president of the Govern de les Illes Balears, Francesc Antich. The envisaged topic for the day is "The quality of professional training". On Wednesday, May 17, the topic dealt with will be "The new seams of occupation in the Balearics" and for Thursday, May 18 "The professional qualifications and they organisation."

This initiative, organised together by the Council for Education and Culture and "Sa Nostra" has the main aim of updating the changes required to adapt professional training to the needs and demands of the Balearics.

The days will be attended by representatives of "Sa Nostra", the councillors for Work and for Education and Culture, representatives of the business sectors and unions of the Balearics, who will propose and analyse the objectives and steps they consider to be opportune to promote professional training in the Balearics in relation to a productive environment and with the future dimension required by the economic diversification of the Balearics.
