I PURITANI by Bellini at the Teatre Principal

The Teatre Principal will present on May 26, 28 and 31 the opera I PURITANI by Bellini, considered as one of the best works by the ingenious Sicilian composer. The production, within the "XIV Opera Season 2000" of the Teatre Principal, is a production by the Associació d'Amics de l'Òpera de Sabadell, with stage direction by Jaume Martorell and musical direction by Miguel Ortega. The libretto is by Carlo Pepoli and the singers are: Carlos Álvarez, José Sempere, María José Moreno, Orlin Anastassov, Maite Arruabarrena, Ricardo Muñiz and Miquel López Galindo.

The organisation of the "XIV Opera Season 2000" of the Teatro Principal is by the area for Culture and Youth of the Consell de Mallorca and the Public Foundation of the Balearics for Music, with the participation of the Choir of the Teatro Principal and the Orquestra Simfònica de Balears.
