II International "Puppet" Festival of Mallorca

The collective Serveis Culturals Assistència Palmesana --integrated by the Mallorcan theatrical companies Centre Dramàtic Di Marco, CUT, Hermanos Llonovoy, Lúbric and Migjorn-- are organising from May 8 to 21 the II Festival Internacional de Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca.

In this new edition, puppet theatre companies from all over Europe will participate, some representing traditional work and others the most avantgarde, to offer thus a complete range of what is the puppet theatre nowadays, with the new tendencies, theatre of figures, theatre of objects, visual theatre...

As in the previous edition, parallel to the puppet theatre performances, there will be a series of complementary activities such as exhibitions, conferences, courses, etc. During the first week the majority of parallel activities will take place, and in the second week, the puppets will invade the streets, patios, gardens of Palma and towns of Mallorca; four intense days of puppet theatre programme.
