SUMMER 2000 dramatics course at the Teatre del Mar

This year, the Teatre del Mar Foundation proposes an intensive course on the way to confront a theatrical text. About how to work with the words created by another person to express or explain determined emotions and that the actor must assume as his/her own, product of organic movement.

The course will have three parts: a task of improvisation in which there will be no emphasis of an external text, another part with simple texts and finally, a task with theatrical texts by authors of well known prestige. Each session will be divided as well into a physical warm up and relaxation period and another centred on the texts.

The professor for the course will be Pere Fullana i Mas, stage director and graduate in acting at the Dramatics Institute of Barcelona. Fullana has also studied at the École International de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in París, and was the assistant director at the Odéon - Théâtre de l'Europe in the same city. He has a wide experience as a dramatics teacher and stage director.
