Concert by Suzanne Vega in Pollença

Suzanne Vega's sweet and timid voice will be heard at the Claustre de Sant Domingo, in Pollença on July 25 at 10 p.m. The concert, organised by Fona Artists together with the Pollença Town Council, has a limited entry for 800 people. The tickets cost 4,000/4,500 pesetas, and can be acquired at the Pollença Town Hall or in Rauxa, Jam-Bar, Xocolat, Sa Taverneta and Discos Baba.

The American authorsinger is doing a tour of Europe presenting her latest record "Tired and Ture", and remembering old songs, such as "Luka", the theme that was heard all over the world and was at the top of the European Pop in 1987. The sad and yet optimistic words of her sons, her genuine poetic voice and her profound sensitivity to social problems that envelope the human existence give her followers from all ages and walks of life.
