Magisteri Teatre will take Miquel Bauça's poetry to the Grec in Barcelona

The group Magisteri Teatre-Mag Poesia of the Balearic University (UIB) will present a production "La independència dels Països Catalans, una bella història", on Friday, June 30, at the Instituto del Teatro in Barcelona, within the cycle Theatre and University of the summer Festival in Barcelona, Grec 2000. It is a production based on the poetry by Miquel Bauça, from Felanitx, with the voices of the young teachers and stage setting by Toni de Cúber. This year will be the fifth time that Magisteri Teatre-Mag Poesia has participated in the Festival Grec, one of the most important cultural events of the Barcelona summers.

The Grec 2000, which will be held between June 26 and July 31, will also have the participation by María del Mar Bonet, on June 28 and 29, in the Plaça del Rei. In a concert called "Domino", the Mallorcan singer will perform for the first time songs by five contemporary Catalan authors, and also themes from an intimate and very special repertoire.
