The writer,
Miquel Bezares, was born on February 17 in 1968 in Llucmajor (Mallorca). He directed, together with Biel Thomàs, the
"Edicions Atàviques", a plastic-poetic experience that was developed in the late 80s and early 90s in Llucmajor.
A graduate in Catalan Philology, at the Balearic University, at present he combines writing with teaching Catalan language and
literature at a Mallorcan secondary school.
He has received several prizes, such as the "Ciutat de Palma de Poesia" (1989), the "Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel" prize given by the
Obra Cultural Balear (1990), the "Josep Munteis de Poesia" prize (1991), and the "Bearn de Narrativa" prize (1998), and was a
finalist of the first "Premi de Relats on Line" organised by TVC, the Grup 62 and the Comissionat per a la Societat de la Informació
de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
Recently he has published a new book, called "Versllum" edited by the Editorial Moll. In the
