"Ansa per ansa" is the method for learning to read and write in Catalan that is used most on the Islands. Published by Editorial Moll
in 1979, it is made up of three books of exercises, a teachers' manual and a pack of cards. It has had several updates and over 20
editions. Now all the material from the books and many more exercises are presented on CD-ROM.
"Ansa per ansa" is a group of significant global proposals that in a progressive interactive way, introduce us to over 700 words of
basic vocabulary. The procedure contents that learning to read and write imply make the pupil relate, identify, distinguish,
memorise, observe, order, classify, complete, explore... words or ideas. Until recently, all this had to be carried out in an exercise
book or page. Now the computer offers the possibility of doing these activities in an interactive media capable of adjusting the
individual learning process of the pupils. Therefore "ansa per ansa" is the ideal multimedia complement for learning to read and write
in Catalan.
Those participating in the preparation are: Elizabet Abellà, Assumpta Mascaró and Maria Fortuny (authoresses); Andreu Terrades
