"Sunset Concerts" at the Santuari de Consolació

The Santuari de Consolació (S'Alqueria Blanca) in Santanyí will be the scene on August 19 and 25, and September 1, of the cycle "Sunset Concerts" organised by the Santanyi Town Council.

On Saturday, August 19, at 9.30 p.m. the Dance and Theatre Company Henry-Wagner will present "Poesia i Dansa", based on poems by Federico Garcia Lorca, with choreography by P. Wagner on compositions by Caimari, Poquet...

On Saturday, August 26, at 9 p.m. the Quintet Alfàbia, will interpret Mallorcan songs that peasants used to sing in the fields such as “Tonada del tafoner, la tonada del munyir, la tonada trista del llaurador, Cavallet quan eres jove, El sereno ha mort un moix, la mort de na Roseta...”

Finally on Friday, September 1, at 8.30 p.m. the metal quartet, Quatre Quartet, will perform works by Mozart, Ivanovici, Susato, Haëndel, Purcell, Gershwin...
