The Ramon Llull Medicinal Garden on Internet

The Ramon Llull Medicinal Garden in Selva has opened its own space on Internet with a web, still under construction, where the history, the objectives and calendar of the project are explained. The promoter of this initiative is the biologist and doctor, Carles Amengual, the designer of the garden is Philippe Debaud, and the architect is Pilar Riera.

The main objectives of the Garden are the promotion and investigation of medicinal plants with a total budget for the project of 154.400.000 pesetas. The Fundació Flora Medicinal Baleàrica is the owner of the project. The same day in which the Foundation was formed on July 19, 1999, the association of Friends of the Ramon Llull Garden was constituted, already with over 100 active members, with the aim to promote and support the project and to participate in the training and informative activities.

Last June, the promoters of the initiative oranised the I Selva Herb Fair.
