Joan Llaneras and Xavi Torres: the triumph of Mallorcan sport

Joan Llaneras obtained the world gold medal for indoor cycling in Manchester in the Points Trial, repeating his success in Sydney where he also won the gold medal.

The swimmer, Xavi Torres won four medals in the paralympic games in Sydney: gold in 150 metre styles, gold for teams in 4x50 freestyles, gold in relay 4x50 styles and bronze in 50 breaststroke.
