On Wednesday, November 1, the festivity of All Saints is commemorated on Mallorca, one of the most important in the popular
culture of the island. On this special day, the tradition is to visit the cemeteries to remember the departed beloved ones and to
decorate the tombs.
According to the Bishop of Mallorca, at 12 mid-day there will be an ecumenical service to remember the dead at the Palma
municipal cemetery, with the participation by representatives of the different churches and religions present on Mallorca. At 9
p.m. the nocturnal adoration for the Eve of All Souls will be held at the Concepció church.
The Bishop of Mallorca, Teodor Úbeda, celebrates this year, on the very day of All Saints, the 30th anniversary of his ordaining
with almost 29 years dedicated to the diocese of Mallorca.
