Festivity of Ramon Llull

This coming Monday, November 27, to celebrate the festivity of Ramon Llull, the Pastoral Universitaria and the UIB UIB have organised a varied programme of activities.

At 10 a.m., will start a Lulian excursion guided by Josep Estelrich Costa, leaving the Plaza de la Porta del Camp (petrol station in the lower Avenidas in Palma) and visiting the Hermit Chapel in Valldemossa, and other old chapels plus the "Cova del Beat". More information: Tel. 971 173462.

At 7.30 p.m., special mass at the Basílica de Sant Francesc (Palma) presided by the Bishop of Mallorca, with the participation of the "Orfeó Universitat de les Illes Balears" choir, conducted by Concepció Oliver, and the Cor de Mestres Cantaires, conducted by Josep Alarcón.

Finally, at 8.30 p.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Sant Francesc school, Gabriel Ensenyat, professor of the UIB will offer the conference called "Pobresa i beneficència en Ramon Llull".
