V Autumn fair at Marratxí

Marratxí will celebrate next weekend the "V Fira de Tardor". The events will start on Saturday November 4 at 4.30 p.m.with the performance by the children's entertainment group Carusses with Jaume Barceló. At 6 p.m. the fair will be officially opened and at 7.30 p.m. there will be popular dancing with the groups Música Nostra and Brostada.

On Sunday 5th, the festivities will start at 9 a.m. and the events will continue throughout the day until the night. A horse show will be held, an exhibition of farm animals from Marratxí, a Mallorcan dog show, an alternative fair about renewable energies, ecology, nature and solidarity, an artisan workshop and a long etcetera of proposals connected with artisancrafts, agriculture and farm animals.

There will also be different performances especially by the xeremiers, the humancastles at mid-day (Al·lots de Llevant and Castellers de Mallorca) and Mallorcan dancing by Aires Mallorquins from Palma.
