The Christmas fairs that year after year fill the Plaça Major and Plaça Espanya of Palma with life and Christmas atmosphere,
were opened on Saturday, December 2. The traditional markets that have already been attended by many people especially
families with children, can be visited until the day after Three Kings Day (Jan. 6).
About a hundred stalls offer all kinds of dry fruits, sweets and other food connected to Christmas: chestnuts, walnuts, turrons,
marzipans, sweets... There are also stalls that sell Christmas decorations and the traditional nativity scene figures. Nearer
Christmas, about December 20, the toys will arrive, favourites with the children.
