The London Chamber Orchestra will offer to concerts organsied by ARTS, next weekend at the Auditorium of the "Sa Nostra" Culture Centre in the calle Concepció in Palma. On Friday, December 15 at 8 p.m., with the performance by John Wallace, interpreting works by Mozart, Tartini, Shostakovich, Händel and Britten. On Saturday 16, at 8 p.m., they will interpret works by Corelli, Elgar, Grieg, Baber and Tchaikovski.

The London Camber Orchestra, directed since 1988 by Christopher Warren-Green, was founded in 1921 by Anthony Bernard. What characterises the group is the individualistic character of each one of the six musicians: all are soloists and recognised components of well known chamber groups. Their objective is to reach all kinds of audience, respecting the quality and excellence associated with classical music.

The trumpeter, John Wallace, who will accompany the London Chamber in the first concert on Friday, is a member of The Wallace Collection. Internationally well known as a distinguished trumpeter, he has performed as a soloist with the most prestigious orchestras in the world.
