Isidre Grau for novel, Miquel Mestre
for poetry and
Ñaco
Fabré for art were the winners of the Ciutat de Palma prizes,
announced on Saturday, Saint Sebastian's day in the traditional cultural
dinner by the
Palma Town Council.
Meanwhile, over a thousand people attended the alternative dinner
Arruixada 2001. The event, although it had a successful attendance,
did not fulfil the expectations of many of those present who had hoped
it would be more participative and cultural. There were also complaints
about the prominence of some politicians at the event.
