I Prize "Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga"

The Fundació Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga, supported by the Mallorcan Council and the Binissalem town council, is convening the I Premio "Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga" with a view to promoting the study of the life and works of Llorenç Villalonga Pons (Palma 1897 – 1980) and the contemporary Catalan literature in general.

The prize will consist in the publication of the book in the collection «Casa Museu Llorenç Villalonga» and 500.000 ptas. in advance of author's rights. Original works may be submitted until May 31, 2001 and the verdict by the jury will be issued in June 2001. The jury will be Joan Mas i Vives, Josep Massot i Muntaner and Vicent Simbor Roig.
