Concerts at the Fundació "la Caixa"

The portuguese singer, Cristina Branco, will perform accompanied by Portuguese guitars, on Friday February 9 at 8 p.m. at the Fundació "la Caixa", plaza Weyler, 3 in Palma. The concert is part of the cycle, Musicians of the World, ogranised by the Foundation. Tickets: 500 ptas.

Meanwhile in the programme, Instrumental Music, Joan Enric Lluna, clarinet and tab plus Nigel Clayton, piano, will offer a concert at the Fundació "la Caixa", on Tuesday February 13 at 8 p.m. in which they will interpret works by W. Lutoslawski, M. Yuste, N. Resanovik, Granados / Guinovart,and A. Romero. 500 ptas. Sale at Servicaixa or two hours before the concert at the Foundation.

Finally, within the programme Stories for the Family, on Saturday, February 17 at 12 p.m. there will be a reading at the Fundació "La Caixa" of "Cuentos Romane, popular gypsy stories". The stories and legends that will be read for an hour by Sebastian Porras, accompanied by the guitarist Manuel Cortés, will involve the audience in the passionate adventure of the gypsies. Tickets 300 ptas. This activity is not on sale via Servicaixa and prior inscription by phone on 971 17 85 12 is required.
