Between February 8 and 10 the

International Wine Salon is held at the Palacio Municipal de
Congresos (Campo de las Naciones) in Madrid.
The Fair gathers wine producers from the whole of Spain, important international
producers and the most important institutions related to the industry.
The Balearic Government is promoting the presence of 14 wines from the
Islands at the Fair. On Monday, the vicepresident of the Balearic
Government and councillor for Economy, Commerce and Industry, Pere Sampol,
and the Councillor for Agriculture and Fisheries, Mateu Morro, presented
the wines that will be on the Balearic stand. The ones with Denomination
of Origin for Binissalem are: Franja Roja, Celler Jaume de Puntiró,
Vins Nadal, Hereus Hermanos Ribas, and Bodegues Macià Batle.
The ones with denomination of origin for Pla i Llavant are: Miquel Gelabert,
Pere Seda, Bodegues Can Majoral, Miquel Oliver, and Arnau Galmés
Ferrer. The following wines without denomination of origin are also present:
Can Maimó, Joan Bonet Riera, Son Bordils and Florianapolis.
