The film "Presence of mind" reaches the Mallorcan screens

"Presence of mind" (El Celo), the first full feature film by the young director Antoni Aloy (Santa Margalida 1969) will premiere in Mallorca on April, in the original version in English and subtitled in Catalan. The film, based on the classic horror story, "Turn of the Screw" by Henry James, has an extraordinary cast: Lauren Bacall, Harvey Keitel and Sadie Frost, amongst others. It was filmed in the spring of 1999 at Raixa, the spectacular property in Bunyola and the photography, an important element of the film is by David Carretero.

The film participated last year in September 2000 in the International San Sebastian Film Festival and more recently at the XV Goya Prize giving, together with the nominated productions, with Mallorcan participation, "El Mar" by Agustí Villaronga, with the actress Antònia Torrent in the cast; and "El Corazon del Guerrero", by Daniel Monzón.
