"Un tramvia anomenat desig" at the Manacor Theatre

The Teatre Municipal de Manacor will hold on February 28 and March 1 the performances of the Catalan version of "A streetcar named desire" by Tennesse Williams, directed by Manel Dueso, with Emma Vilarasau as Blanche, Marc Martínez as Kowalsky and Àurea Márquez as Stella. Jordi Figueras, Xavier Ruano, Daniela Feixas and Armand Villén are also in the cast. The translation of the work is by Joan Sallent with scenography by Alfons Flores.

This is a strong emotional production in which desire is the contrast with death and the tram is the desire for a most intimate and essential trip.
