Agricultural and animal fair in Son Ferriol

Last Tuesday, March 20, the programme of events started for the Son Ferriol "IX Fira Agrícola i Ramadera" and the "IV Fira d'Animals de Caça" (hunting animals), organised by the Associació d'Agricultors i Ramaders de Sa Part Forana de Palma, sponsored by the Town Hall.

The programme of events includes a wide variety of activities, such as workshops, presentations, exhibitions by local artists, horse dressage competition, sports competitions.... The majority of the evens are to be held on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25, starting first with the markets and exhibitions, and ending the days with music and dancing.

In the Sunday fair, their will be exhibitions of auchthoctonic and exotic animals, hunting dogs (Ca Eivissenc), commercial stands, machinery, horse exhibitions and children's games, amongst other activities. To end, as from 10 p.m. there will be a grand fiesta with fireworks.
