"La Vida es sueño" opens the Festival of World Theatre

The Auditorium in Palma will hold on March 14 to 18 the performances of the first play of the Festival Teatres del Món: "La vida es sueño", by Calderón de la Barca. It is a coproduction by the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, Edinburgh International Festival, Barbican Centre and Teatre Romea, starring Joaquín Notario and Nuria Gallardo. The direction and adaptation of the text is by Calixto Bieito.

"La vida es sueño" is a philosophical story that, in its over three thousand verses, examins the uncertainty and fragility of the human state.
