Llucmajor: Tribute to Rock

The group from Llucmajor, Crazy Peechers, has organised for next Friday, March 9, a concert with different local groups (Menage, P-Ozone, Límit, Kowalski, Aregats, Crazy Peechers, No Children, Painful, Mutan Klone and La Abeja Maya). The concert, that will start at 9 p.m. at the Teatre Recreatiu, has the collaboration of the Centre d'Informació Jove in Llucmajor and is sponsored by the Town Council.

With the title, "Homenatge al Rock", the concert is dedicated to Tomeu Cortès, the base player of the group, Crazy Peechers, who died last November 26 after a tragic car accident. In the group's web, www.peechers.com, an emotional text dedicated to Tomeu Cortès can be found, written by Nicolau Febrer Roig, the friend who accompanied him in the car the day of the accident.
