RUF Dual Mode Transport System

Invented by Palle R Jensen, the RUF (Rapid Urban Flexible) Dual Mode Transport System combines the best of cars with the best of trains. The RUF system is a transport system based upon electric cars and a network of monorails.

The Individual Vehicle is an electric/hybrid car without congestion and pollution problems. The Collective Vehicle (maxi-ruf) is a very attractive bus. It offers door-to-door transportation and very easy access.

The Ultra Light Guideway is a very slender triangular monorail, with a minimal visual impact.
