The
Sala Sonotone, situated
in the Plaza Gomila in Palma, will hold on Thursday, April 12, a concert
by the popular Madrid band,
Sôber.
The group --formed by J. Carlos Escobedo (base and vocals), Jorge
Escobedo (guitars), Antonio Bernardini (guitars) and Alberto Madrid (drums)--
will present their latest record, "Synthesis", the third they have recorded
in their seven years' history. Sôber offers hard and romantic
rock at the same time, combining a melodious voice with aggressive music.
Meanwhile, on Friday April 13, at the same Sala Sonotone, there will
be a party, "Viaje a los sueños polares" by the DJ Polar, codirector
of the programme of the same name on
Cadena
40. The sessions by DJ Polar are a delicoious trip through pop of all
eras, from ye-ye- to techno pop, from Sweden to Japan.
