First Open Calvià for deepsea photography

On May 27, the first Open Calvia for Deepsea Photography will be held in Calvia.

The contest, organised by the Associació Balear d'Imatge Subaquàtica, with collaboration by the Calvia Town Council, is valid for BAFOSUB 2001.

The competition area is between the Illes Malgrats and the Punta de Cala Figuera and the gathering point for the boats is the ramp of the Club Nàutic de Santa Ponça.

The first prize is a trophy and a week's holiday for two people in Zanzibar; second a trophy and holiday for two people in Santo Domingo; third a trophy and 50.000 pesetas. There will also be a special prize Calvià Agenda Local 21: a week's holiday for two people in Fuerteventura.
