The Higher School for Tourism in the Balearics awards their Escudos 2001
The Teachers of the Escuela Superior de Turismo de Baleares, in a meeting held on May 24, 2001, agreed to award the School Shields for 2001 to the following people:

Gold Shield to the late Antonio Asensio Pizarro, owner of  R.C.D. Mallorca and president of the  Grupo Zeta.

Gold Shield to Juan Socías Socías, founder and president of  J.S.Hotels.

Silver Shield to Miguel Picó Martínez, in recognition of his merit as Computer Studies Professor, his high quality of preparation and his interest, dedication and efficient teaching.

Bronze Shield to Laura Pubill Gay, pupil of the programme B.A.Hons in Tourism Management, who obtained the maximum qualification in the last final exams. .

Bronze Shield to María Teresa Martínez Ginart, pupil of D.E.A.T., who obtained the maximum qualification in the last final exams..

Bronze Shield to Marcos Buades Calvo, pupil of the programme HND in Leisure and Tourism Management, who obtained the maximum qualification in the last final exams.

Bronze Shield to Francisca Montalá Fornés, pupil of the studies ND in Travel and Tourism, who obtained the maximum qualification in the last final exams.

Bronze Shield to Vanesa Romero Barceló, pupil in 'Mandos Intermedios', who obtained the maximum qualification in the last final exams.

The awards will be given during the closing academic ceremony on June 21 at 7.30 p.m. at the  Sala Magna del Pueblo Español in Palma.
