Concert by Cap-pela at the Torrent de Pareis

This coming July 15, as from 5.30 p.m. there will be the annual Concert del Torrent de Pareis (Escorca), one of the most singular musical events of the Mallorcan summer. In an exceptional setting, those attending will be able to listen this year to seven exceptional voices of the Mallorcan group Cap-pela.

The open-air concerts at the Torrent de Pareis started in 1964 through the initiative of the artist, Josep Coll Bardolet, and at first the performances were almost intimate. Later, the Capella Mallorquina took over the organisation of the concert, and year after year, the event acquired strength. At present the concert gathers together thousands of people, attracted by the marvellous combination of the beauty of the scenery and harmony of the music.
