EUR-Lex: The portal to European Union law
Building on the success
of the EU online legal information services already available to the public,
and to make the workings of the European Union more accessible and transparent,
the EU institutions have created a single entry point a portal to EU legal
texts, called EUR-Lex. The EUR-Lex portal is a first step in bringing together
in a streamlined environment the whole body of EU legal texts for online
consultation. This online service is to a large extent free of charge.
