Ariany: Fiestas for the "Mare de Déu d'Atocha"

The Ariany municipality is celebrating these days the patron fiestas dedicated to the "Mare de Déu d'Atocha". Popular dances, exhibitions, concerts and other cultural and sports activities integrate the programme of the fiestas, that started last August 18.

Next Friday there will be children activities as from 7 p.m. and at 10.30 p.m. the folk night with "Ball de Bot" will start. On Saturday there will be, amongst other events, a kite competition and popular open air dance as from 11 p.m.

On Sunday 26, at 11 a.m., the religious events for the Patron Saint will take place and at night there will be a violin and accordion concert. On Monday 27, the last day of the fiestas, there will be an excursion by bike round the village, races and children activities. Finally, as from 10 p.m. theatre and fireworks.
