Borges Festival 2002 at Valldemossa

The first Festival Borges of poetry, music, theatre, dance and cinema, dedicated to the writer and poet Jorge Luis Borges, will take place in Valldemossa from June 14 to August 24, 2002.

The promoter of the Festival is la World Society of Jorge Luis Borges' Friends, organization founded in Mallorca with the aim of grouping the specialists and passionate readers of the work of the Argentinean intellectual that lived in Valldemosa when he was young.

Since last August 25 and until next September 2 the pre-Festival Borges 2001 is taking place at the cultural centre Costa Nord in Valldemossa, with different free cultural activities: poetry, cinema, conferences, presentations, etc.
