Patron Saint Fiestas for Santa Eugènia

Santa Eugènia is celebrating these days the summer patron saint festivities, with a wide range of sports, popular and cultural activities. The fiestas, organised by the Associació de Joves Voluntaris Independents "Sa Tanyada", with collaboration from the Town Council, started on July 28 and will continue until Monday, August 6.

Amongst other activities, work mentioning is the concert by the groups Limit, Skai Line, Daniel i la Quartet de Baño Band and Ariel Roth, that will take place on Friday night, August 3. Afterwards, at 6 in the morning on Saturday, there will be Alborada with ice-cream and ensaimada. On Saturday evening August 4, there will also be a dance with the orchastras: Collage, Fet a mà and Lolo's band.

On Sunday, August 5, there will be the mass followed by refreshments at the Town Hall for all the town and in the afternoon at 6 p.m. the traditional children's festivities and "corregudes de joies a es cós". Theatre in the evening by the Companyia Xesc Forteza, as part of the "IV Mostra de Teatre de Santa Eugènia".

On Monday, August 6, the last day of the fiestas, in the morning the "corregudes de joies" will continue and also the traditional race "pollastre i del conill", and as from 6 p.m. the pensioners' party. The fiestas will end with the popular dance with Brostada, Quart Creixent and la Colla de Dimonis de Factoria So.
