Riera Ferrari at the Bennàssar Gallery

The Bennàssar Gallery in Pollença is holding until September 20 the exhibition "Clar i Obscur de Riera Ferrari".

The artist from Manacor, Joan Riera Ferrari, presents in this exhibition some thirty recent works dedicated to the theme that the artist has been treating for years: the cliffs and the rocks of the Mallorcan coast.

The exhibitions includes amongst other works, one dedicated to the recently deceased Josep Melià, a painting with great sentimental value for the artist that was already presented last summer in a collective exhibition at the Galeria d'Art Contemporani Marimon in Can Picafort.

According the Antoni Tugores Manresa: "Riera Ferrari makes a last attempt to save the nature, and through it, the man. His work is a eschatological cry that searches, definitively, the survival of the man in the harmed nature and, specially, in time."
