Manacor: September Fair

Next Sunday, September 16, the traditional "Fira de Setembre" will take place in Manacor, a popular event that has been celebrated in the town since the XIX century. Initially, the fair was only agricultural, but over the years, the show has grown and nowadays it is a general fair, with stands related to farming and food, exhibitions of animals and agricultural machinery, hand-made and ecological articles. The fair also includes informative stands by institutions, business organizations, associations...

The show will have 4 kilometres of exhibition in the Avingudes de Manacor and thousands of visitors are expected. The activity will start at 8 a.m., although the official opening will be at 10 p.m., and the Fair will remain open until the night. The festive touch will be that brought by two groups that will offer street shows along the exhibition area during the whole day.
