The Natural Park s'Albufera of Mallorca, with a protected area of 1.708,75
Ha, is situated facing the bay of Alcudia, in the municipalities of Muro
and Sa Pobla.
The wetland of s'Alfubera is a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA),
and is one of the most important ecosystems in the Balearics and Pitiüses.
The birds, the eels, the water, the bridges, the canals and the vegetation
of the rushes, together with the beach and dunes, form a very special natural
area for nature lovers.
The access to the park is by foot or bicycle via the Pont dels Anglesos
and the entry is free, but permission must be obtained from the Park Reception
Centre.
Visiting Hours:
- 9:00 h to 19:00 h from April 1 to September 30.
- 9:00 h to 17:00 h from October 1 to March 31.
