With the title "Pensar no pensar res i després de pensar no
pensar res" the young Ibizan artist, Yolanda Montesa, is presenting her
recent work at the Espai Ramon Llull de Palma.
Photographs, objects made in daily materials and texts full of poetry
and plays on words, make up, according to the the Councillor for Culture,
Damià Pons, "a poetic innovation, in perpetual investigation and
with her own physiognomy."
Yolanda Montesa Vich (1973) is a graduate from the Faculty of Fine Arts
of San Carlos in Valencia (1996) and diploma from the École Nationale
Súperieure des Beaux Arts in París (1998). Since 1993 she
has exhibited in València, Eivissa, París, Cuba and Marseille,
and this is her first exhibition in Palma. .
The exhibit, that can be visited until September 30, will be presented
next year in Eivissa, date to be decided, at the Fundació Diocesana
Isidor Macabich, in Hospitalet de Dalt Vila.
