"Nit de la cultura 2001"

On December 20, the XV edition of the Cultural Night organised by the Obra Cultural Balear (OCB) will take place.

This year the event will take place at the Auditorium of Palma with a new format with choir and symphony performances by: Joan Pons, Maria del Mar Bonet, Isidor Marí, Joan Bibiloni, Biel Majoral, the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears, directed by Joan Company, and the Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears, directed by Luis Remartínez. All these with the artistic direction by Antoni Parera Fons.

As is traditional, in the course of this ceremony the OCB will give the prizes, "Premis 31 de Desembre", in recognition of those people and institutions that have excelled in promoting the Catalan language and culture.
