Fair in Sencelles: the horse show starts

Pure bred horses will be the new stars of the fair in Sencelles that will start this Friday, May 17, and will last until Monday, May 20, the day of Es Firó.

The reception of the horses that will participate in the "1r Campionat de Mallorca de Cavalls de Pura Raça", on Friday afternoon, will be the first activity of the programme, followed by the opening of different exhibitions and the performance by the group Cap Pela, as from 10 p.m.

The morphological horse contest will take place throughout Saturday and Sunday, and the two days will end with a horse show: Saturday as from 8.30 p.m. and Sunday at 7.30 p.m., after the prize giving. At the same time a series of cultural events will be held and different art exhibitions and one of crochet and embroidery on Saturday 18, and a sheep exhibition by local farmers plus an ecological horticultural show by the CP Can Bril, on Sunday 19, the day of the fair.
