The end of the Summit and the Counter-summit

The summit meeting of Ministers of Environment of the European Union ended last Saturday with an agreement to carry out a community system of control of land erosion and to fix in the next meeting, to be held in Luxembourg on June 24, the definite objectives and future action for its conservation.

Meanwhile, last Saturday saw the end, with a grand demonstration through the streets of Palma and a party in the Parc de la Mar, of the programmed events for the Cimera Alternativa de Medi Ambient, organised by the Plataforma per la Democràcia i la Globalització Social.
