The Main Floor of the Casal Solleric in Palma is holding until July
21, 2002, an anthological exhibition by the Mallorcan artist, Pere Quetglas
Ferrer (Palma 1915-2001), known artistically as Xam.
The exhibition, organised by the Palma Town Council, sponsored by the
CAM and commissioned by Montserrat América, gathers together works
from the whole varied career of the artist who dedicated to caricatures,
sketching, painting and etching, and was a great cultural promoter as a
gallerist, art critic and teacher. The exhibition includes his latest
canvases, some still unsigned, in which he used computer circuits amongst
other materials.
