Esporles in fiesta: Sant Pere 2002

The patron saint festivities for Esporles "Sant Pere 2002" started on Saturday 22, with the traditional street parade and the proclamation, this year by Joan Costa. The fiestas will continue all week with a wide range of activities for all tastes: sporting competitions, work shops, exhibitions, theatre...

As for the nights, the programme from today until Sunday is very interesting. On Wednesday 26 there will be an open-air dance with music by Música Nostra. On Thursday 27, teatre by Xesc Forteza. On Friday 28, concert by Tomeu Penya, Geminis and Alabama. On Saturday 29, music by Amb una mica de sort, Horris Camoi, Lolos Band and Baix Zero. And finally, on Sunday 30, fire races by Iguana Teatre.

This week there will also be festivities in honour of Saint Peter at Alaró, Andratx, Búger, Colònia de Sant Pere, Escorca, Port d'Alcúdia, Port de Sóller...
